Making a Reservation

Once you complete the "check-out" form and pay the deposit, we will receive your request. Your request will be reviewed by our travel advisors and secretary. If there are clarifications needed, you will receive email from us asking you whatever is needed. 

When the request has no uncertainties and all the people involved (guides, drivers etc) have been notified and confirmed availability, you will receive a confirmation email from us.If for some reason we cannot process the reservation (for example there is no guide available on a certain date), we will notify you as soon as possible and we will cancel the transaction (return to you the 100% of the deposit amount)

Changes in the Reservation

You can always make changes to your reservation. Just email us and we will try to accommodate the changes you want made. This cannot be made via an automated system; you will need to contact us.

Reminder before the service

A few days before the service you will receive a reminder from us. We will ask you to confirm that nothing has changed in your plans.

Cancellation of a Reservation

If you want to cancel the entire reservation just email us requesting for that. This cannot be made via an automated system; you will need to contact us.

"Open Date" Reservation

If for any reason you will need to postpone your trip, there is no need to cancel the entire reservation. The easiest is to change your reservation to an "open-date reservation". That way we keep your reservation pending, with a deposit and without a date for up to 18 months. When you know the new dates of your trip, you will tell us. Then we will activate the reservation for the new given dates.

Refundable Deposit

The deposit we ask is only a small fragment of the total cost of each service. Actually we ask for the lowest possible amount in order to be able to process the reservation (book guides, drivers and whatever else may be needed). However, even this small amount is fully (100%) refundable if you cancel the reservation relatively early. That is before we have used your deposit to make the bookings required for your service. Please see the "Cancellation Policy" below for more details.

Cancellation policy

The deposit paid once a reservation is confirmed, practically remains at your disposal until 1 month prior to the service. In particular:

  • If you cancel the entire reservation 30 days or more prior to the date of the service, you get a full (100%) refund of the deposit.
  • If you cancel the entire reservation 29 to 15 days prior to the date of the service, you get half (50%) of the deposit amount.
  • If you cancel the entire reservation 14 days or less prior to the date of the service, you get no refund (0%) of the deposit amount.

The philosophy of our cancellation policy: The deposit amount is intensively the lowest possible. That is because we don't see the deposit as a means to make profit in case of cancellation. Furthermore we don't see a cancellation as a reason for a "penalty". We only charge the least possible that will allow us to process each service. If there has to be a cancellation, we try to return as much as possible to you. We only keep what we have used already to reserve services and what we will have to pay as "reimbursement" to third parties due to the cancellation. With that philosophy we have come to the above cancellation policy.
